1. Introduction

Welcome to Mohit Handicrafts. By accessing our website, communicating with us, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

2. Products and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to present our products and their details accurately. As handicraft items may feature natural materials and handmade finishes, slight variations in colour, pattern, size, or appearance may occur.

3. Prices and Availability

Prices and product availability may change without prior notice. Any applicable taxes, shipping fees, customisation charges, or other costs will be communicated as relevant to the order.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order or enquiry does not by itself guarantee acceptance. An order is considered confirmed once its details and applicable payment terms have been agreed upon by both parties.

5. Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, an 80% advance payment is required upon order confirmation. The remaining 20% is payable according to the terms agreed for that order.

Please confirm the final product specifications, quantity, and agreed price before making payment.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by production requirements, courier operations, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Any shipping arrangements and charges will be communicated during order confirmation.

7. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellation Policy

• Items damaged through customer handling or misuse after delivery may not be eligible for return or refund.
• Any damage noticed during transit should be reported promptly, along with clear photographs and relevant order details.
• Where a refund is approved, applicable manufacturing and shipping costs may be deducted, as communicated for the order and subject to applicable law.
• If a customer cancels an order, the advance payment may be non-refundable. Additional cancellation charges may apply depending on the order's production or fulfilment status, subject to applicable law.
• Exchanges are subject to review and approval. Please contact us with the order details and reason for the request.
• This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws and any specific written terms agreed for an order.

8. Customer Responsibilities

1. Provide accurate contact, billing, and delivery information.
2. Review and confirm the product specifications, quantity, and price before confirming an order.
3. Pay the agreed 80% advance and remaining balance according to the confirmed payment terms.
4. Confirm all specifications for customised or made-to-order products before production begins.
5. Inspect the delivery and report any transit damage promptly with supporting photographs.
6. Follow the applicable cancellation, return, refund, and exchange process.
7. Handle and care for products appropriately after delivery.
8. Respond to order-related communications in a timely manner.
9. Use the website and our services in compliance with applicable laws.

9. Intellectual Property

Website content, including text, photographs, graphics, branding, and other materials, belongs to Mohit Handicrafts or its respective rights holders unless otherwise stated. It may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without prior permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Our website or order process may rely on third-party services such as payment providers, courier companies, or external websites. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for content or practices outside our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mohit Handicrafts is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, or failure to care for a product after delivery. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
